What is a Offshore fishing charter?Offshore fishing in Key West .....We go out 5 miles from the shore where the water is about 500-1000 feet deep. This is where we start to troll for bites to the hooked bait that we put out on fishing kites or troll lines. Fishing kites are regular kites tied to the stantions of the boat with a series of fishing lines & baited hooks that play out from the boat as we motor along .... like parasailing, if you get the picture.
